PCOS experience

Today I am not going to talk about something that has never been talked or spoken. It is a very common and hot topic among adult girls these days.
PCOD, just like the name sounds so scary the disease is very common among the fertile girls and women.

It is so common that it sits unndiagnosed with many poeple. I dont have the statistics with me, however i have spoekn to many people who didnot know that they had PCOD until it was accidently diagnosed while having routine body check up. It can be asymptomatic to mildly symptomatic to having gravely intense symptoms. Now it depends on each person;s perspective how they take if they have later symptoms. I take my symptoms as worse ones. I again know there are other people suffering from other illnes wheere their physical as well as mental health is affected. i want to say the symptoms that we have with PCOS is also not less too.

Imagine, having your cysts back even after surgery. Imagine taking pills every day so that the bloody cyst's size would decrease but doesnot decrease an inch even after taking pills for years. The struggle to deal with infertility amid the social pressure is not something that could be explained easily. The social isolation that you push yourself into, could be detrimental, if not handled properly.

PCOS can be managed if we speak about it more often and normalise the discussion about it.
Healthy diet and physcial activity has actually been proven to have postive outcome.

For me, my PCOS was diagnosed when i went to do my USG out of curiosity,  while i pursuing my bachelors.
